What Is It?
Army 365 is a new U.S. Army initiative to help improve information sharing with added cybersecurity measures. Army 365, which leverages Microsoft 365 capabilities, provides the Army with an enduring capability to collaborate across the force. The system hosts a range of resources to include video and voice teleconferencing, email, instant messaging, and access to shared drives.
Why the transition?
Readiness: Army 365 will deliver greater capabilities than what is found in CVR and provides elevated security by embracing cloud-based solutions to enhance workplace efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
Modernization: Army 365 is a secure, cloud-based suite of products that merge Microsoft Office applications we use daily with voice, video, chat, and file sharing capabilities.
Cybersecurity: The Army stays ahead of cyber threats by adopting proven secure solutions that balance the benefits of commercial cloud services with the need for information and cybersecurity
